Whitby RNLI Dark Spiced Rum

The Whitby RNLI Rum from the Whitby Distillery, creators of Whitby Gin was crafted with love to honour the dedication and courage of the RNLI volunteers who have been saving lives at sea since 1824.

10% of every bottle sale is donated to the RNLI.

Whitby Dark Spiced Rum is distilled with cassia bark, cloves and sea buckthorn.

It is then laid to rest in Madeira wines casks. The result is a dark spiced rum with rich fruit overtones, molasses and treacle murmurs.

Strength 42% ABV

Palate: Aromatic fruits and treacle notes come through from the Madeira Wine Cask which is perfectly balanced with molasses sweetness.  A touch of sea buckthorn brings out the orange citrus flavour.

Appearance: A deep golden glow.

Nose: Lightly spiced notes with a subtle hint of ripe fruitiness.

Serve: on the rocks or as a dark & stormy. Also try using the artisan barrel-smoked cola and a slice of lime.
