Patent Greeting Card – Ships Anchor (1902)

Text on the reverse side:

Ancient anchors were very basic, often consisting of large stones, or logs of wood, which secured the vessel simply by weight and friction. Anchors were improved by developing the shape designed to dig into the sea bottom to improve its function.

Made in London, England, these luxury pearlescent cards feature drawings of patents on the front with some trivia on the reverse. The cards are left blank inside for your own message.

Each card is made from FCS certified card and the plastic packaging is biodegradable/compostable.

Absolutely wonderful customer services and excellent support. I wanted a specific gansey jumper and could not find it anywhere. They were fantastic, found the jumper for me and sent it to me express delivery yesterday afternoon. Royal Mail excelled and it arrived to our surprise this morning. It is exactly what was wanted and I can't thank you enough for all your help.
