At home with Whitby artist Richard Pottas

Shooting our autumn/winter collection from Guide London

Posted in Products

Whitby artist Richard Pottas, and his wife Jane live in one of Whitby’s most eye catching homes. Their Georgian Town house has a large ‘bottle window’ and the interior is a striking cohesion of Richard’s paintings, period artefacts and contemporary pieces. Richard kindly agreed to model some of the new outfits from our Guide London Autumn/Winter collection.

Richard wears Sunwill chinos in beige, with the Guide London faded flower shirt and Guide London blue check blazer.
Take some brightness and cheer into Autumn with this faded flower print shirt which works well as both a smart and casual piece.
Patterns are a familiar feature in Richard’s work.
A more formal sateen finish on this floral print shirt with splashes of hot pink and turquoise.
Another of Richard’s pieces in his signature style.
The underside of the collar and inside of the cuffs are a bold turquoise adding extra detail and a splash of colour.
The sun pours into the South facing rooms of the house
A twist on a classic White shirt with a hint of Paisley.

Richard and Jane’s home offers bed and breakfast available at https://www.unionplacewhitby.co.uk
